Phil Mezzetti's BIO

Phil Mezzetti has twenty-five years of audio production experience. From radio and television advertising to Grammy Award winning music and several major motion pictures.

Phil also served four years as Tour Production Director for the Texas Tornados and co-produced their last album, "Live From the Limo" with the late Doug Sahm.

Phil’s credits include five Grammy nominated albums of which two were Grammy winners. He is also a Grammy voting member for The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

When not behind a recording console, you can either find Phil on the golf course, kayaking through a central Texas river, or sitting in the top of a tree amongst the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Steve Metz's Bio

Steve Metz has 15 years of extensive audio production experience. Steve has engineered countless educational, technical, radio and television productions from start to finish. He is also a very busy voice talent (db Talent) which gives him experience from both sides of the glass.

In his spare time, Steve plays drums in the Latin Jazz band "Cadaques". He enjoys auto racing and Alpine climbing.

Marcus Hutsell's Bio

Marcus Hutsell is currently interning at The Sound Lab with Phil and Steve. Marcus has studied audio engineering at South Plains College in Levelland, TX and received his certification in Audio Engineering and Studio Techniques from Mediatech Institute (The Dallas Sound Lab).

Marcus is also a percussionist and loves to play the drums, congas, basically anything percussive. Marcus also tinkers with guitar, bass, and piano.

Marcus' musical influences range from jazz to pop, James Brown and Tower of Power to The Dave Matthews Band to Phil Collins to the Yellowjacets, Michel Camilo, Sheryl Crow, Sting, The Police to..........well, you get the idea.

When not listening to music or playing drums, Marcus is building computers, designing websites, or working at One World Theatre.
